According to ESPN and Tudan Mexico, Las Vegas has been allegedly selected to host the 2026 FIFA World Cup draw on 5 December.The draw ceremony will determine groups for the expanded 48-Team tournament, which will be hosted jointly by the United States, Canada and Mexico.The draw teams will be held in 12 groups of four countries.This will host Las Vegas a World Cup draw for the second time, which would first host the ceremony for the 1994 World Cup when the United States was the only host.Initial reports of ESPN suggested that a new 17,500-seat site, a newly opened from 2023, was considered the major candidate for the draw location.However, both AFP and ESPN were later confirmed by sphir sources that the draw would not be at their site.Similar to 1994, Las Vegas will host draw despite being selected as a host city for any World Cup matches in 2026.
