SC said, “We consider it appropriate to adopt the timeline set by the Ministry of Home Affairs … and believe that the President needs to decide on bills reserved for his views, the date from which such a reference is obtained within a period of three months,” SC said.
“In case of any delay beyond this period, appropriate reasons should be recorded and informed to the concerned state. States require to expand cooperation by being ally and answering questions that can consider the suggestions made by the Central Government.”
It comes four days later when the apex court approved 10 bills, which stopped and reserved for the idea of ​​President Draupadi Murmu by Tamil Nadu Governor RN Ravi – and established a time -long line for all governors to work on bills passed by state assemblies.
