Five-nation tour concludes: PM Modi returns to India; Top Civil receives respect. Bharat News

New Delhi: PM Narendra Modi returned to India after joining Ghana, Trinidad and Tobago, Argentina, Brazil and Namibia after concluding his five-nation tour. The visit also saw the PM attending the 17th BRICS summit at Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. During his visit, PM Modi focused on strengthening bilateral relations, promoting economic cooperation and increasing India’s presence in the global South, underlining India’s growing global diplomatic engagement. Many important announcements were made during the journey along with MOU’s signature. In Argentina and Brazil, major discussions focused on business participation, investment opportunities and cooperation in areas such as agriculture, technology and defense. During the BRICS summit, PM Modi was engaged in high-level dialogues on global economic rule, sustainable development and reforms in multilateral institutions.In Ghana and Namibia, the Prime Minister emphasized India’s commitment to deepen the cooperation of the global South, with a conversation in the soul, focusing on capacity-building, infrastructure projects and educational partnership. His visit to Trinidad and Tobago strengthened cultural and people from India for a long time within the Caribbean region.Brazil, Namibia, and Trinidad and Tobago honored PM Modi with his highest civilian honor, ‘National Order of the Southern Cross’,’ Order of the Most Ancient Welvitschia Mirillis’, and ‘The Order of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. With Namibia being the latest, Prime Minister Modi has been given 27 international honors by a foreign government as he assumed office in May 2014.During his state’s visit, PM Narendra Modi addressed the parliaments of Ghana, Trinidad and Tobago, and Namibia, to do so that he equaled the joint address given by all Congress Prime Ministers in foreign parliament before 17 years. Congress Prime Minister together – Manmohan Singh (7), Indira Gandhi (4), Jawaharlal Nehru (3), Rajiv Gandhi (2), and PV Narasimha Rao (1) – gave a total of 17 speeches.
