The US Department of Justice announced on Tuesday that a Florida person has blamed the wire fraud and an illegally safe airport areas, after posing as a flight attendant, to enter as a flight attendant.According to CBS News, Tiron Alexander, who was found guilty by a federal jury on 5 June, exploited an airline employee travel booking system from 2018 to 2024. The prosecutors stated that Alexander used the portal, especially reserved for pilots and flight attendants, who fly on at least 34 flights without paying.According to the court documents and evidence presented in the trial, Alexander claimed to work for seven separate airlines, presented a fabricated badge number and rented the dates through the employee verification process. Officials said they used about 30 sets during the plan.In addition to booking flights through the platform of a single airline, Alexander also instigated the flight crew along with three other carriers to increase access to free travel.He was accused of wire fraud and violating airport security protocols, entering the restricted areas under false hypocrisy. Alexander now faces up to 30 years in the federal jail when he is sentenced on 25 August.Transport Safety Administration (TSA) Atlanta Field Office led the investigation.
