Former FBI director James Comi is facing a federal inquiry after sharing a controversial picture on Instagram, who expressed displeasure among the Trump colleagues. The post showed that Seedles arranged to create the number of “86 47”, which argues that there was a threat against the 47th President of the United States Donald Trump.Comi captioned the image, “Cool shell formation on the walk between me,” but numbers raised concerns, especially the use of “86”, which could be a slang to get rid of someone. While Merium-Wabster noted that the word may mean “kill” in some contexts, it has not officially adopted that definition for its limited use.The post was rapidly removed after backlash. Comi later clarified that he did not realize that the numbers could be explained as violent. “I admitted that they were a political message,” he wrote, “I oppose any kind of violence, so I took the post down.”Despite the explanation, Trump supporters’ response was fierce. Donald Trump Junior accused Comi of calling his father to kill, called the post “Demented”. Homeland security secretary Christie Nom said, “Former FBI director James Comi was humiliated, only called for the murder of @Potus Trump.”Current FBI Director Kash Patel confirmed that the agency was cooperating with the US secret service in the investigation of the case. “Primary jurisdiction is accompanied by secret service, and we will provide all the necessary assistance,” Patel said.White House Deputy Chief of Staff James Blair also weighed the post, “Clarian call for terrorists and hostile rule”, while the President is abroad in the Middle East.Comi, who led the FBI since 2013, is currently promoting his new crime novel, *FDR Drive *until he was not expelled by Trump in 2017.
