Mumbai: Former Maharashtra minister and NCP leader Dhananjay Munde still has to vacate the official bungalow ‘Satpuda’ in Mumbai, even four months after resigning from the state cabinet.Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Monday accepted the extended stay at Munde’s government residence.He said, “I am not aware of how much good amount is imposed on Munde for his extended stay in the official bungalow. I have to find out the details.”Senior Nationalist Congress Party leader and Minister of State Chhagan Bhujbal is waiting for an official residence since May, when he was included in the Council of Ministers after Munde exiting.Bhujbal said, “The official residence of me is still occupied by a former minister who is also a partner of my party. I cannot ask them to vacate. If asked, I will ask CM to give me a small residence to work.”Munde, who was organizing the Ministry of Food and Civil Supplies, was resigned on 4 March amidst his relations with Wolmic Karad, who was the prime accused of killing Beed Sarpanch Santosh Deshmukh.After Munde left the post and Bhujbal was included as a minister, a government order was issued on 23 May, allotted to the Satpuda bungalow.However, Munde is still occupying the bungalow, Bhujbal has not been able to go to standby for official residence.
