Gaza Civil Defense says that Israeli strikes at least 29

Gaza City: Gaza’s Civil Defense Agency said that on Sunday, at least 29 Palestinians were killed in Israeli airstrikes, including six children near a water distribution point. The attacks came with a clear deadlock in a week of indirect talks in Qatar between Israeli and Palestinian terrorist group Hamas.Civil Defense spokesperson Mahmood Basal told AFP that Gaza City was hit by several strikes overnight and killed eight in the morning, “including women and children and injured others. An Israeli air strike near the Nuserat refugee camp south of Gaza city killed a family house, resulting in “10 martyrs and many injured”, Basal said.In Central Gaza, six children were killed, when a drone “hit a potable water distribution point in an area for the displaced people” at the Nusherat camp, he said. Many other people were injured, he said.According to a civil defense spokesperson, to the south of the region, three people were killed when Israeli jets killed a tent in the coastal al-Mavasi region. There was no immediate comment from the Israeli army, which recently intensified its operation in Gaza, Hamas’s October 2023 attack in the war for more than 21 months. On Saturday, the army stated that fighter jets had killed more than 35 “Hamas Terror targets” around North Gaza’s Beat Hanun. Most of the population of Gaza of more than two million people at least once during the war has been displaced, which has created human conditions in the region.Media restrictions in Gaza and difficulties in reaching many areas means that the AFP is unable to verify the toll and details provided by the Civil Defense Agency and other parties independently.
