Under Operation Sindhu, a special flight carrying 285 Indian citizens from Iran’s Mashhad landed in Delhi late on Saturday night. The government has planned to operate three more withdrawal flights from Iran in the next two to three days, Foreign Minister Pabitra Margherita said on Sunday.Passengers from states including Bihar, Jammu and Kashmir, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat and Maharashtra, bring the total number of Indians from Iran so far from Iran.Speaking to reporters, Margerita announced that three more withdrawal flights from Iran were scheduled in the next two to three days. “We are going to have three more flights from Iran in the next two to three days. Mos Shri Pabitra Margherita vacated 285 Indian citizens on a special flight from Mashad, which landed in New Delhi on 22 June at 2330 pm.”“With this, 1,713 Indian citizens are now brought home from Iran,” said this.
