Ajit Kumar’s high-octain action entertainer ‘Good Bad Ugly’ has continued his strong run at the box office, crossing a mark of Rs 147 crore in just 16 days. The film, released on Thursday, was opened in large scale numbers and remained for more than two weeks despite a sharp drop post in its first week.

A dip in the third week
According to the initial estimates mentioned by the SACNILK website, ‘Good Bad Ugly’ earned Rs 1.25 crore on its 16th day (Friday), the total India pure collection was brought to Rs 147.15 crore in all languages. While the film saw an forecasted dip in the third week, its overall performance has been impressive, especially in Tamil-speaking areas.
The film recorded Rs 119.15 crore in its first week and added another 26.75 crore in the second week. Tamil Nadu remains a major contributor to the success of the film’s box office, with only a Tamil version accounting for a wholesale of revenue.

On its 16th day, ‘Good Bed Ugly’ recorded an overall Tamil occupation of 20.05%. The Night Show saw the highest turnout at 25.60%, with 26.25%in Chennai regional occupation. Other major cities such as Madurai (17.25%) and Coimbatore (15.25%) also maintained decent show numbers.
