The 38 -year -old cricketer shared the news on Instagram, in which his time was reflected in Test cricket, appreciating supporters.Rohit’s Test career began in November 2013 against the West Indies, with 67 matches. He submitted 4,301 runs with an average of 40.57, including 12 centuries and 18 half -centuries.The highest score of 212 was achieved during a domestic chain against South Africa in 2019, which kept them as India’s 16th largest run-scorer in the test. In 2013, his visit started impressively in Eden Garden, Kolkata with a score of 177 against the West Indies.

Despite the potential showing and giving remarkable performance, Rohit initially faced the challenges that set up themselves in the test format, especially in the distant matches. The right -handed batsman faced difficulties away from home, especially in army countries (South Africa, England, New Zealand, Australia). Success in these countries is considered a benchmark for Indian batsmen.
