Former PM Rajiv Gandhi (File Photo) New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday paid tribute to former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi on the anniversary of his 34th death.In a post on X, PM Modi wrote, "Today on the anniversary of his death, I pay my tribute to my former Prime Minister Shri Rajiv Gandhiji."Congress leaders also paid tribute to Rajiv Gandhi's memorial Veer Bhoomi. Among them were his son Rahul Gandhi, Congress President Mallikrajun Kharge and party leader Sachin Pilot.Rajiv Gandhi served as the Prime Minister of the country from 1984 to 1989, who was a leader with an absolute majority with the final Congress government.
