‘Half of a refrigerator’s door size’: Trump says that B -2 pilots were to kill a smaller target from 50,000 feet; ‘They hit it every time’

Critics questioned the impact of America’s Operation Midnight Hammer on Iran’s nuclear sites, President Donald Trump praised the B -2 bombers and said that he invited B -2 pilots to the White House. In an interview on Fox News, he reported how difficult it was for the B -2 pilots to fly a large aircraft for 36 hours, which was occupied by most bombs. “They compete with the size of a circle – slightly, they say, half the size of a refrigerator door, 50,000 feet in the air is going up at a rapid pace in the air,” said Trump. “They hit it every once, and then they separated two other sites.”For some pilots, the mission was probably the first time he flew B -2 into the war and dropped the bombs. This was the first time the GBU-57 bunker Buster bomb was used. Each B -2 is flown by a two -person crew. The cockpit has space for space for the back of a toilet and aircraft seats, where a pilot can spread on a cot or a camping pad and take a brief nap. Both pilots are required to stay on their seats for a period of time in takeoff, landing, aerial re-fueling and enemy.Aircraft are also equipped with small heaters for hot food, but many B -2 pilots prefer simple food such as sandwiches on long missions. While the identity of the B -2 pilots involved in this operation is not known, the former pilot who went to compete at B -2, and other experts shared their experience. Generally, before the mission, qualified pilots are trained on a long -term simulator to help them plan their sleeping cycle. But they are not already told about the operation – not even when it can happen.
