HC upholds AMU’s first woman Vice Chancellor appointment

The Allahabad High Court has valued the appointment of Professor Numa Khatoon as the Vice Chancellor of Aligarh Muslim University, which has rejected the challenges for the selection process. An AMU professor wrote to the President, “The process of selecting a new VC was not followed”. The Emu Court then pushed forward three names, including Khatoon, for the Ministry of Education and the President, and the matter also went to HC.
