In a possible hatred crime, a 70 -year -old Sikh man, Harpal Singh, was brutally beaten with a golf club in Northern Hollywood as he was going to a gurudwara, a place of worship. The attack took place on 4 August, and the Sikh community prayed for the recovery of Singh, which is now in an apostle, ABC7 said. Singh’s brother, Dr. Gurdial Singh Randhwa said that Harapal Singh barely survived the attack and stayed in the hospital in critical condition. He performed three surgery for broken facial bones and brain bleeding. A disturbing video since the attack shows Singh sitting on a pavement in a pool of blood, in which the weapons used in his attack are still sitting on his feet. “Attacked cruelly. I don’t know how God saved him. He was almost dead, “said Singh Randhawa.Munmeeth Kaur, the legal director of the Sikh coalition, said, “This is the fact that this happened and no one came to stop that Dr. Singh was left in such a serious situation only, the fear has spread in our community.” The incident occurred outside the 7-Elavan store at around 3.15 pm near the intersection of Seticoy Street and Lankeshim Bulleward.Eyewitnesses said a person on a bicycle approached a 70 -year -old child and without any reason, the old man attacked a golf club badly which he left behind. The old man was in a stunning position, soaked in his blood. The detectives with the Los Angeles Police Department are now looking for the suspect who wants to attack with a deadly weapon. The surveillance footage showed the suspect as a strong -built middle -aged person. The victim’s friends said that the 70-year-old 70-year-old enjoyed feeding birds in the parking lot behind the 7-Ilevan store, where he often left his place of worship nearby.
