Till now, we did not have a conversation with the government on it.” He emphasized that the interests of the country take precedence for the Federation, which states, “The country comes first for us. Asia Cup is happening in India, and whatever government advises us, we will follow it.”The Asia Cup to be held in Rajgir, Bihar from 27 August to 7 September serves as a qualifying tournament for the 2024 men’s FIH World Cup in the Netherlands and Belgium. Recently, a senior Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) official revealed that he has requested the Asian Hockey Federation (AHF) to guarantee visa for his team to participate in the Asian Cup.
Bholanath Singh, who also holds the position of the vice -president of AHF, reiterated his commitment to prioritize the honor of the country, stating, “I am the AHF (Asian Hockey Federation) Vice President, I am the General Secretary of Hockey India, but first I am a citizen of India.
