New Delhi: Meghalaya Police on Monday said a senior official said that seven -day transit remand of men arrested for killing an Indore businessman in the northeast state.He said that he would be taken to Shillong, the capital of Meghalaya.“The men were presented before the CJM (Chief Judicial Magistrate) Judge, and the Shillong Police received a 7-day transit remand. The fourth accused, Anand, is being brought to Indore; all four Shillong will be taken by the police,” Additional DCP (crime) Rajesh Dandotia’s Indore Police told news agency Anne.Earlier, in a large scale turn in the case, the Meghalaya Police revealed that the three businessmen of Indore, Madhya Pradesh, Raja Raghuvanshi, were killed by the three – Raj Singh Singh Kushwaha, Akash Rajput, Vishal Singh Chauhan – for which he was hired by anyone other than Raghuvanshi’s wife Sonam. He surrendered in Gazipur, Uttar Pradesh.Sonam and Raja, who married on May 11, left for Meghalaya for their honeymoon on 20 May. He went to “missing” on 23 May, celebrating holidays in the state’s Sohra region.The couple’s sudden disappearance attracted national attention. After the man’s body was found in a gorge on 2 June, his family demanded an inquiry by the Central Bureau of Investigation. The woman remained missing until she was surrendered.
