New Delhi: A 22 -year -old law student Sharmisha Panoli went out of custody on interim bail given by the Calcutta High Court, his father, Prithviraj Panoli admitted that the family had also rejected some of his social media posts. She said, “She will show us some videos, even we did not like some videos and we will tell him,” he said, he said that he had removed some of them and asked him to remove the one who eventually caused his arrest. “It must have been a good lesson for him,” he said.The Calcutta High Court on Thursday granted an interim bail to a 22 -year -old law student and influential Sharmisha Panoli, who was allegedly arrested for uploading a video that hurts religious sentiments. While legal proceedings continue, his father, Prithviraj Panoli opened his arrest, his health and his family’s response to his online content.“I am very happy, no father wants his daughter to be in jail,” he said. “He has a kidney problem and meditation-thunder/hypercracity disorder (ADHD). It is necessary to take medicines, but since we did not have a recipe, we could not give him medicine in jail. It would have been a good lesson for him. She would do well now.”Asked if he knew about the controversial content that shy was posting, Panoli was clear: “She would show us some videos, even we didn’t like some videos and we will tell him that we will tell him. We also removed some videos. When he posted that video, we asked him to remove the video. We had asked him (case).”Sharmish was arrested by Kolkata Police on 30 May from a hotel in Gurugram. Arrest from a video posted about Operation Sindoor, which was considered communal in nature. Although he removed the video and released an apology on May 15, an FIR was lodged against him at Garden Reich Police Station in Kolkata.Giving its bail, the court said that the complaint did not disclose any cognitive offense. Conditions for bail include his passport surrender, cooperating in investigation and presenting individual bonds of Rs 10,000. The court also directed that after the video went viral, it should be given police protection due to the dangers received.The arrest provoked extensive political reactions, in which BJP leader Suavendu Adikari called it “police overgrowth” and “case of police atrocities”.
