Only known terrorist camps were targeted.” The embassy also confirmed that NSA Ajit Doval had informed Rubio on the operation shortly after the strike. The US has urged both sides to restraint. Responding to the situation, US President Donald Trump told reporters, “It’s a matter of shame. We have heard about it because we were walking in the doors of the oval. Just heard about it … I hope it will end very soon.” He said that tension between the two countries has remained for “many, many decades … centuries, actually”.Rubio had earlier spoken to both Indian Foreign Minister S Jaishankar and Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif. In that call, Rubio urged the two countries to reproduce “D-Suscule stress, re-establish direct communication and maintain peace and security in South Asia, according to a statement by his office. The US has also emphasized the importance of justifying terrorists. His office said, “The secretary spoke about the need to condemn the terrorist attack on 22 April … He encouraged Pakistan to work with India.”Meanwhile, India continues to abbreviate international stakeholders on its anti-terrorism functions.
