New Delhi: Given that the test in the cash-for-Job scam, former Tamil Nadu Minister V. St.hil Balaji is being prosecuted, the largest test in the country with more than 2,000 accused, the Supreme Court on Wednesday asked the state to go into an prosecution case and said that it can consider the appointment of a special public prosecution party.Justice Surya Kant and a bench of Joymlya Bagchi asked the state to present a complete list of accused and witnesses in corruption cases and said “it would be India’s most populous test with over 2,000 accused and 500 witnesses. The trial will not be sufficient in a small court of the court and a cricket stadium will be required.”It asked the government why it did not leave the accused on the basis of his marginal or prominent convict in the case. It states that bribery people, although technically commit a crime, are effectively suffering and such a large number of people will be delayed excessively.“We want to know what your prosecution plan is. It is a very cruel ship with 2,000 strange accused, 500 odd witnesses. How will you get clubing?Senior advocate Gopal Shankaranarayan, who was present for the complainants, said that the prosecution should identify the main accused, such as the minister, his brother, his personal assistant, and others considered bribes and the rest as witnesses.Senior advocate Abhishek Manu Singhvi for the state government opposed the appointment of a special public prosecutor as the court had already rejected the prayer and asked the court before making his mind on the appointment of SPP in the case. He said that there was no allegation against the current Public Prosecutor who is discharging his duties.However, the bench stated that SPP’s appointment would remove any wrong public perception about testing as a former minister and bureaucrats were involved in the case.“He is a powerful politician. Nothing is wrong as a powerful politician. Someone has public support. The only concern is that in a case where some people who hold the position of a minister, are some bureaucrats or other affluent people who are facing trial, are facing trial, a public perception that a prosecution party can not be alone through the government,”
