New Delhi: What can happen in another dramatic churning Maharashtra politicsShiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray on Saturday expressed his desire for a political tie-up with his cousin Raj Thackeray.
Uddhav Thackeray’s remarks suggested Thava with his brother, who participated in a manner and formed his Maharashtra Navneman Sena Party, when elections are going to be held in India’s largest municipal body, Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) this year.
“I am ready to come together (with Raj Thackeray). I am ready to come forward in the interest of Maharashtra, keeping in mind the minor incidents
Raj Thackeray echoed a similar feeling and said that “it is not difficult to come together” and that the difference between cousins is proving to be expensive for the existence of Maharashtra and Marathi people “.
The news agency’s IANS said to Raj Thackeray, “The disputes and quarrels between Uddhav and me are modest – Maharashtra is much larger than all these. These differences are proving expensive for the existence of Maharashtra and Marathi people.”
He further said: “It is not difficult to come together, it is a matter of will. It is not just about my wish or selfishness. We need to see a big picture. All Marathi people of political parties should unite and form the same party.”
The MNS chief separated his previous political decisions from the rebellion led by Eknath Shinde, saying: “I left the Shiv Sena when MLAs and MPs were with me. Still, I chose to walk alone because I could not work under anyone except Balasaheb Thackeray. I had no objection to working with work?”
“If Maharashtra wants us to come together, let Maharashtra speak. I do not allow my ego to come in the way of such matters,” he said.
Udhav Thackeray’s move to ride a new political wagon comes at a time when Great developmentFormed to compete with the BJP, the Maharashtra assembly elections have been getting away from a crisis since its derogatory loss in the last year.
Raj Thackeray and Uddhav Thackeray, two major figures in Maharashtra politics, their uncle and father respectively share a long and complex history of the size of the late Bal Thackeray, who established the Shiv Sena. His political journey was once aligned under the same saffron banner, gradually turned into rivalry and competitive vision.
While both were prepared in party ranks, Raj was long seen as a natural heir due to his oratory style and aggressive road politics, which reflected Bal Thackeray’s personality. However, in the early 2000s, Balasaheb chose Uddhav, to lead his quiet and more organizationally brain, to lead the party, bypassing “Raj”.
The decision created a rift in the exit of Raj from Shiv Sena in 2005.
He soon launched his own party, Maharashtra Navneman Sena (MNS) with a similar supporter Marathi ideology, but failed to match the dominance of the original army. Since then, Raj and Uddhav have often found themselves on the opposing aspects of the political battles of Maharashtra, with a sporadic thing of reconciliation but no real unity.
While Uddhav tied up the Shiv Sena out of power to keep the BJP out of power with ideological parties like the Congress and NCP, Raj spills the BJP between supporting the BJP and giving himself as an independent force, often attempted to recover his relevance against the Hindi and Northern Indian thin work.
Their relationship is politically distant today, more than competition and heritage than family relations.
