New Delhi: Union Minister Chirag Paswan on Sunday confirmed that he would contest the Bihar assembly elections later this year.The head of Lok Janakati Party (Ram Vilas) announced at a rally in Ara in Bhojpur district, where he saw his party’s pole Bagle.The news agency PTI said, “I will contest the assembly elections in Bihar. I will contest elections not only in Bihar but also for the people. I am the son of Ram Vilas Paswan. I will realize my father’s dreams and work for Bihar first to change Bihar.” The Hazipur MP was remembering a slogan that he had coined before the last 2020 assembly elections.On the question of which assembly seat he would contest, Paswan replied that it will be decided by the people of the state.The actor said, “It is for the people of Bihar to decide which seat I should contest in the upcoming assembly elections in the state.
