ICC Test Ranking: Mohammad Siraj achieved a career-high ranking after heroes at the Oval; Prasad Krishna also climb. Cricket news

Indian fast bowler Mohammad Siraj has secured a career-servation of 15th in the ICC Test rankings after a match-winning performance against England at the Oval, where India won a historic six runs for the 2–2 levels of the series. Sirj’s player attempted nine -wicket match for 190 runs, with three important wickets on the last day, brought him to 12 positions in the ranking.Siraj’s latest ranking crosses its previous best of the 16th position achieved in January 2024. His team’s partner Prasad Krishna also moved up to 59th position in his career, with the pair to take four or more wickets in both innings of only one Test match, which matches the spinner Bishan Bedi and Arpalli against Delhal in 1969.

England’s pace bowlers have also made significant progress in the ranking. Gus Atkinson has entered the top 10 for the first time, while Josh Jib has stepped into 14 places to secure the 46th position after claiming eight wickets in each in the match at the Oval.Matt Henry of New Zealand has moved to the best fourth career in the Test bowling rankings after his nine -wicket race in the first Test against Zimbabwe in Bulvio. Hasan Nawaz has climbed 24 places to reach the 30th position, while Sam Ayub has stepped into 25 places to share the 37th position. Sahibzada Farhan has upgraded 34 places to secure the 63rd position.Left-Arm Rist-spinner Sufiyan Mukim has made a significant jump of 69 places to reach a joint-34th position after his affordable bowling performance, where he maintained a tight figures of a wicket for 20 runs or less in each match.Mohammad Nawaz, who earned the Player of the Series Award for taking three wickets in each of the first two matches, has secured 51 positions to reach 56th position in the ranking.
