IMD Stick for Forecasting Up-A General Monsoon | Bharat News

New Delhi: Updating its monsoon forecast, IMD stuck with its previous prediction of ‘above normal’ rains in the country during four months (June-sept) rainy season on Tuesday, but upgraded quantitative rainfall figures. It was also said that during June, the average rainfall in India is likely to be ‘above normal’, causing the month to become less than the ‘normal’ summer wave.Quantitatively, the country is likely to receive 106% of long -term average (LPA) rainfall. Earlier in April, IMD predicted the figure that it was 105% of LPA. LPA of seasonal rainfall in the country (period of 1971-2020) is 87 cm as a whole.Creating an area-wise forecast for spatial distribution of rainfall, the Met Department first released the probability forecast for all 36 meteorological subdivisions in the country. It shows 31 out of 36 subdivisions including Delhi-Haryana-Chandigarh, which will be above ‘normal’ rainfall.The MET department predicted a positive signs for the operation of overall farming in the country, up to the ‘monsoon core zone’ above the common ‘rain’ (the fields where the operations of farming are largely dependent on seasonal rainfall).Up-normal rain increases crops, AIDS record outputGood monsoon rainfall not only helps the kharif (sown in summer) crops, but also fulfills the rabi (sown in winter) crops for the bending season. Therefore, the ‘above normal’ is expected to help to help the monsoon rainfall, increase the ingredients and production of various crops and to pursue the country towards realizing your target of record food production of 354 million tonnes in 2025–26 crop year.

IMD updates monsoon forecast

The monsoon colliding with Kerala on May 24, eight days before the date of its normal beginning, has already covered most parts of Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, South Andhra Pradesh, South Maharashtra and Northeast.“Most of the countries of the country are expected to receive rainfall ‘above normal’ (more than 108% of LPA).
