In Khatima, CM Dhami saplings paddy, India news pays tribute to hard work of farmers

In the Nagra Terai region of Khatima, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Saturday planted paddy in his own area, paid heartfelt tribute to the hard work, dedication and sacrifice of the farmers. He said that memories of the days before stepping into the fields were returned. The Chief Minister stressed that farmers are not only the backbone of our economy, but also the carriers of our culture and traditions.On this occasion, he also prayed to the gods – Bhumiya (God of land), Indra (God of rain), and cloud (God of clouds) – through the rich cultural folk tradition of Uttarakhand, “Hoodkia Bowl.”This cultural relationship and emotional participation with farmers inspired the local community deeply.Chief Minister Dhami’s initiative is being seen as an inspirational step to honor the rural culture of Uttarakhand, recognize the importance of farmers and preserve traditional folk arts.
