International Cricket Council (ICC) President J Shah met His Majesty Sheikh Hamdan bin mohammad al maktumDuring the Dubai-India Business Forum held in Dubai’s Crown Prince, Mumbai. The high-profile meeting marked a significant moment in strengthening the cricketing relations between India and the UAE.
In a special gesture, J Shah introduced Indian cricket stars Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya and Suryakumar Yadav in Dubai Crown Prince. The players took time out of the duties of their Indian Premier League (IPL) with Mumbai Indians to attend the meeting.

Expressing his views, J Shah wrote in a social media post, “It was a pleasure to help to connect cricket with a visionary leadership in Mumbai, where it was a true honor to meet His Excellency Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammad Al Maktaum, which is implemented with the cricket icon Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya, and Surikumar Yadava.
The conversation not only symbolized diplomatic high, but re -confirmed the ICC’s global mission to form beyond the border.

Meanwhile, Mumbai continues to struggle in the 2025 IPL season. His latest outing saw a 12 -run defeat against Royal Challengers Bangalore at Wankhed Stadium, the first domestic loss of RCB to RCB in a decade.
With four defeats in five matches, MI currently ranks eighth on the points table with only two points, tied with CSK and SRH. His only win this season has come against KKR.
