‘Incredibly inspiring’: Justin Fulcher resigned after six months of service; Praise Hegseth’s leadership and Trump’s support

Justin Fulchar, a senior advisor to Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, left the post after six months of serving in Pentagon, the US Department of Defense (DOD) confirmed on Saturday.Fulcher announced his resignation publicly in a post on X on Saturday afternoon, written: “As planned, I have completed 6 months of service in government in my country.” He described the experience as “incredibly inspiring”.,He wrote, “None of these secretaries could be the decisive leadership of Hegseth or without constant confidence in our team of President Trump,” he wrote. “I will continue to make American warfighters champions in all future efforts.”Fulcher has been serving Hegseth as a top ally since April. He officially resigned the verdict on Thursday evening, describing his own himself and said that his plan to serve for six months in the government was always, as Fox News had reported.He initially planned to serve six months in the government and on completing that period, decided to step on good terms. Fulture also highlighted the important work being done by Hegseth in support of the army and the nation.In a statement, Pentagon spokesperson Sean Parnell said, “The Defense Department is grateful to the Justice Folys for his work on behalf of the President. [Donald] Trump and Secretary Hegseth. We wish him all the best in his future efforts. ,During his tenure at Pentagon, Fulcher advised Secretary Hegseth on personnel and policy matters. He was also involved in several major defense initiatives. He had helped review the major acquisition programs focused on increasing military strength and improving the US defense industrial base. Fulcher also worked to speed up software purchase, which reduced the deadline between years to months and helped modernize important IT systems across the department.He, including a Shangri-La dialogue in Singapore, for high-level defense meetings in the Indo-Pacific sector with Hegseth. Fulcher also contributed to budget decisions, which transferred from non-combat areas to about 50 billion dollars that improve military readiness and effectiveness.He praised the dedication of DOD personnel and further cited the progress in “regeneration of warrior ethos” and “reconstruction of the army”. Fulcher joined the DOD earlier this year as part of Hegseth’s Inner Circle, during Trump’s second term, Hegseth took charge of Pentagon.His resignation comes under the widespread reshuffle of employees within Hegseth’s office. At least six colleagues have been abandoned since January, although defense officials say these are regular changes.The Pentagon has not yet announced who will change the Phulcher and their next role is not clear. However, his statements suggest that he plans to remain active in national security matters.
