The squad carried forward the origin of the team that visited England in July and impressed in both formats.Matre, who led the front in England, was a standout artist in the two-match youth test series, both ended as the top run-scorer in teams. He scored 340 runs in just four innings, including two centuries and fifty. Under his leadership, India attracted the Test series 0–0 and extended the ODI leg 3–2.

One of the greatest talk points is Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who took the young one -day series from the storm in England. The 14 -year -old scored 355 runs, including the fastest centenary in the young ODI history, comparing with some of the youngest stars of the game.Matre will be supported by another relevant contributor on the England Tour by Vice-Capten Vihan Malhotra.
