On July 17, five people associated with the murder of Chandan Mishra, convicted of murder at Patna Private Hospital, were arrested on Saturday by a joint team of Bihar SIT and Bengal STF at a guest house in Anandpur, Kolkata. A white sedan was also seized to flee to Patna. Four of them were seen entering Room 209 on the second floor of Paras Hamari Hospital in CCTV, where 36 -year -old gangster Mishra was shot several times from Buxar in Bihar. He was on parole for liver surgery. He was captured after more than 12 hours after detaining five other people in a housing complex in the new city of Kolkata to allegedly assist his occupation movement. All 10 are being questioned. The Bihar Police identified the alleged gang leader as Tausaf Badshah and alerted the Bengal counterparts with the details of the escape vehicle seen on the Durgpur Expressway.
