He also praised Mohammad Siraj, calling him the Unsang Nayak of India’s Pace Unit: “Sirj has bowled over 900 overs since 2020. He has played 25 out of 27 foreign sports. He has played 25 out of 27. The controlled pace is important in England – and Siraj brings abundance.”Meanwhile, captain Shubman Gill supported Nair and said: “He did not bat on his number in the first game. We have interacted with him, and he will turn it around.”
The final XI is yet to be seen under the scanner, with a series on the line between the line and India.
