Indian cricket on Saturday saw a rare piece of history as its three batsmen–KL Rahul and Ravindra Jadeja-Ne cross-500 runs in the same test series. This is the first time any Indian trio has achieved this feat in the same test series, and it has come in England during the 2025 Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy. Shubman Gill led both as the captain and the batsman. He finished the series with 754 runs in 10 innings at a luxurious average of 75.40, including the Career-Survashrestha 269.
KL Rahul, to open the innings, was long in testing position to score 532 runs at an average of 53.20. His attempt included hours of the new ball struggling, which were facing more than 1000 delivery in five tests. At 3 on the last test day at Oval, Ravindra Jadeja finished third to join 500 runs club. Batting in the previous season before being dismissed for 53, he scored 516 runs for the series at an average of 86.00.
