IND vs. Eng Test Series: ‘In Lord’s, the same happened’ – Nasar Hussain revealed how Ben Stokes fire Jofra Archer. Cricket news

England captain Ben Stokes is at the center of his side’s enthusiastic performance in the five-observant series against India with both his performance and leadership. As the series moves towards a dramatic closing, the handling of prominent players such as Jofra Archer has praised, especially from former captain Nasar Hussain. Speaking on Sky Sports Cricket after the fourth Test, after finishing in a Ging Draw at Old Trafford, Hussain pointed out the trust and chemistry between Stokes and Archer, who returned to his exam in the third match at Lord’s. Hussain said, “I like the fact that Ben knows what Jofra Archer ticks. There is a huge amount of respect between the two.” He recalled a moment from the third Test, where Stokes smiled and hugged a sharp word with Archer before lightening the mood. This was a clear reflection of the balanced leadership of the skipper.
“In Lord’s, exactly the same. Stokes has that mindset – I am your friend and I will take care of you, but I am not your best friend. If you don’t believe it right, I will have a word with you,” Hussain explained. He said, “He would know what the Archer ticks and I think Archer is actually a better bowler when he is slightly removed and his legs start pumping slightly,” he said. Archer, who returned to play in the XI midway through the series, has raised major wickets, with a figure of 2/52 and 3/55 in Lord’s, followed by 3/73 and 1/78 in the drawn Test.

The Manchester Test saw both sides with toe, India ended the game after centuries to end the game for the last day and Ravindra Jadeja and Washington Sundar. In favor of England, the handling of players such as Stokes, with a 2–1 series, and especially the handling of players, could prove to be decisive because the teams gearted for a final test at the oval.
