Former India captain Sourav Ganguly has advised the current head coach Gautam Gambhir to advise him to include spinner Kulip Yadav in the upcoming fifth and final test against England at Oval, after India’s fourth test at Old Trafford. England extended the series 2–1, Ganguly believes that India can win the conclusion with the right bowling options and continue the batting pace.India managed to secure a draw in the fourth test at Old Trafford with an enthusiastic performance in the last day.Ganguly told IANS, “I recommend Gambhir to play the role of Kuldeep Yadav in the fifth Test and to attack the right bowling. If we continue to bat like this, we can win at the Oval,” Ganguly told IANS.Ganguly refused his past loss at Lord’s by 22 runs in Lord’s, chasing India’s batting performance in Manchester.“This is a young team, we have to give them some time because the team is rebuilding them. The way they batted in the fourth innings yesterday, where they scored more than 400, India would feel bad that they lost Lord’s Tests. They actually batted well on the fifth day in Manchester, 190 should have been achieved in Lord’s.”

“After a long time, many Indian batsmen have scored a lot of runs in a foreign test series. This is something that makes me happy and a good sign for Indian cricket. These young players will play for a long time for the country, and their performances in England will definitely give them great confidence. If we can improve our bowling, we can win in Oval.Ganguly praised the continuous performance of wicketkeeper-boss Rishabh Pant throughout the tour, taking into account his absence from a final test due to a right-foot fracture.
