The producers of Duke Cricket Balls will fully review the soft balls used in the first three Tests between India and England. Review balls come after complaints about losing hardness and going out quickly, especially after 30 overs, the match is delayed due to consecutive ball changes.The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) plans to collect the balls used and return them to the British Cricket Balls Limited, the company that produces Dux balls by the end of the week.“We will take it away, inspect and then start talking to the tanner, all are talking about raw materials – everything,” Dilip Jajodia, owner of British Cricket Balls Limited, said, who makes a duke.“Whatever we do, it will be reviewed and then if we feel that some changes need to be made or tightened, we will.”Duke Ball, which has been in production since 1760, has faced issues in Tests and County Cricket in recent years.
