New Delhi: How many matches will Jaspreet Bumrah play in India vs England Test series? Team India’s head coach Gautam Gambhir on Thursday provided a significant update on Bumrah’s availability before the much awaited five -match Test series in England, which starts with Headingley in Leeds from 20 June.“We don’t take the call on which he will play 3 games. We will discuss with him and depend on the series and results and how the series is growing. I am sure he knows very well,” Gambhir said.He said, “It is difficult to change someone like Bumrah, but we have enough quality. As I said in the Champions Trophy, it gives another player an opportunity to keep his hands up,” he said.India enters the series under the leadership of the new Test Captain Shubman Gill, who took over the reins after Rohit Sharma’s retirement from Red-Ball cricket.The England Tour ICC World Test Championship marks the beginning of India’s campaign in the 2025-27 cycle. The five-testing chain will be played between historical places-Hedingley, Edgbaston, Lords, Old Trafford and Oval-June and August.
