India and England jointly to celebrate International Geeta Jayanti Festival: CM Naib Singh Saini | Bharat News

Kurukshetra: Haryana Chief Minister (CM) Naib Singh Saini announced on Sunday that this year’s International Geeta Mahotsav (IGM) would be celebrated in collaboration with England, which takes the spiritual message of Lord Gita an important step for the global audience. The announcement was made during a media conversation after a state-level yoga marathon held at the holy Brahma Sarovar of Kurukshetra.CM Saini said that every year a separate country is selected to host or participate in the global ceremonies of Geeta Jayanti. This year, Swami Gyananand, RSS ideology, Bhagavad Gita Scholars, are visiting England to discuss the system and importance of the upcoming international program. The Chief Minister said, “Swami Gyananand’s efforts are invaluable to spread the message of Gita around the world.”He highlighted that millions of devotees gathered every year in Brahma Sarovar for the Gita Jayati celebrations, showing the spiritual and cultural significance of Kurukshetra. The international expansion of this festival, he said, aligned with India’s growing soft power and spiritual diplomacy.During his address, CM Saini also took a political swipe in the opposition, claiming that the people of Punjab have now become completely disillusioned. “At first he was fed up with the Congress, and now he is very fed up with the Aam Aadmi Party,” he said. “Both sides have misled people with false promises and only worked for their personal gain. The public has now made up its mind to support the BJP and bring real development.,Speaking on the law and order, he said that the people of Haryana are well aware of the decline during the Congress rule. “Now, the law and order in the state has improved. Wherever there is a violation, the police take strict and immediate action after investigation,” he said, underlining his administration’s commitment to security and justice.CM Saini also expressed his condolences on the tragic aircraft accident in Ahmedabad, in which a daughter from the local district lost her life. He said, “This is a heart -wrenching event. We pray for peace to the departed souls,” he said that the government stands firmly with the bereaved families, ready to offer all possible help.The event was attended by former Minister Subhash Sudha, Director of Haryana Sports Department and Ambala Division Commissioner Sanjeev Verma, Deputy Commissioner Neha Singh, SP Nitish Aggarwal, BJP District President Sardar Tejendra Singh Goldi, CM Office in-charge Kelash Saini.
