India has promised to support Myanmar

New Delhi: In a meeting with Myanmar Junta Senior General Min Aung HavingPM Narendra Modi underlined the importance of early restoration of the democratic process in Myanmar, including reliable and inclusive elections.
He said that India would support all efforts, as in the past, to pursue and pursue Myanmar -owned and Myanmar -led transition for a peaceful, stable and democratic future.

Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri said, “The two leaders also agreed to cooperate with the activities of rebel groups with borders with the India-Myanmar border, and human trafficking.”
