India has the right to protect its citizens: European Union | Bharat News

As India and the European Union held their first strategic dialogue on Tuesday, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar and his counterpart Kaj Kallas reiterated their strong condemnation of horrific terrorist attacks in Pahgam, Jammu and Kashmir, the ministers shared the idea that every nation including India has the right and responsibility to save its citizens from terror.“While de-escation efforts are underway, the High Representative (Kalas) encouraged a continuous bilateral connection between India and Pakistan to support peace and stability in the region,” said the European Union. Jaishankar called upon the European Union to look at the struggle with Pakistan as a “terrorist” India vs. “terrorist” as he highlighted India’s zero-tolerance trend on terrorism, while also insisting that it is necessary to yield for any atomic blackmail. “Joe responsible (for Pahgam) should be held accountable,” Kalas said.
