Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday highlighted his 11 -year technical achievements of his government, stating that leverageing technology has brought many benefits to citizens. The Prime Minister said on X, “Powered by the youth of India, we are making remarkable progress in the application of innovation and technology. It is also strengthening our efforts to become self -reliant and global technical power houses.”PM Modi further said that technology has increased service distribution, transparency, and has empowered the poor, while India has converted India into the center of digital innovation and technical-lower rule.On Tuesday, the Prime Minister shared an article written by Union Minister Jyotiraditya M Scindia on a post. In his article, Scindia focuses on how the villages have become a part of India’s digital revolution.The government said that India has acquired 94 crore broadband connections and important digital connectivity milestones with 120 crore telephone customers, which increased from 75 percent to 85 percent in 2025 from 75 percent in 2014.The country has also become one of the world’s cheapest mobile data providers, which promotes digital inclusion through UPI payment.The government said that the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) has ensured transparency for more than Rs 44 lakh crore to the beneficiaries in 322 schemes regulated by 56 ministries, which saves Rs 3.48 lakh crore to end the leak.
