Dehradun: A 45 -year -old man from Kottayam, Kerala, allegedly wanted to kill his second wife, was found dead near Kedarnath pilgrimage. Police said KK Premkumar was in jail to kill his first wife in 2019 and was released from jail on bail before remarriage about five months ago. KK Premkumar allegedly killed his second wife on 4 June and escaped after the Kerala police issued a lookout notice for her. Two Kerala Police teams were in Delhi, when they received a call from their counterparts about Premkumar’s death in Uttarakhand.Uttarakhand Police Inspector Rajiv Chauhan, who was posted at Kedarnath, told TOI, “Premkumar was found dead near his rented residence late on Wednesday night. The police then sent the body to a nearby hospital in Rudraprayag Town for the post -mortem examination. After investigating his ID, the Kerala Police was informed about his death. It was found that he was wanted by him to involve his wife’s murder in Thrissur, Kerala.,Inspector Chauhan said that nothing was found suspicious in his possession. Chauhan said, “The dead body exam report will help find out the cause of death. A team of Kerala Police reached Kedarnath from Delhi on Friday, so that they could be investigated in the murder case.”
