India, Pakistan agrees to the unconditional ceasefire; To stay in Indus Water Treaty Abeyance. Bharat News

New Delhi: After the growing days between India and Pakistan, the two countries on Saturday agreed to a ceasefire, which prevents all military action in land, air and sea. This decision does not bear any precondition before or after the agreement. It also includes that the Indus Water Treaty will remain in the abyance, as the Mea sources have been confirmed.All the ventilative measures declared against Pakistan on 23 April will remain in force.After the terrorist attack in Pahalgam on 22 April, India took several strong steps against Pakistan for support Border terrorism,A major step was holding the ‘Indus Waters Treaty’. The agreement was signed in 1960 after a nine -year talks between India and Pakistan with the help of the World Bank. The treaty decided how the water is shared with the Indus river system. Under the treaty, Pakistan finds Western rivers, Indus, Jhelum and Chenabs – while India gets Eastern rivers – Ravi, Beas and Sutellage. India is also allowed to use 20 percent water, a small portion from the Indus system, while Pakistan gets the rest.At 3:35 pm today, the top military officer asked his Indian counterpart to operate Pakistan’s border. India on May 7, targeting several terrorist camps in Pakistan and Pakistan -occupied Kashmir, responded on 7 May with a major anti -terrorism operation ‘Operation Sindoor’.As part of its vengeance, Pakistan launched a wave of drone attacks targeting the border states of India. However, Indian defense systems stopped most of these aerial threats and neutralized, which prevented any loss of life or property.
