India has launched a major military campaign, which has been coded Operation vermilionTarget the terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan and in direct reaction to the Pahgam terror attack, killing 26 people, including 25 Indian citizens and a Nepali citizens.The Pahalgam massacre leads to attacks between India and Pakistan amidst increasing tension, where most of the victims were allegedly tourists. The Ministry of Defense has said that a detailed briefing on Operation Sindoor will be held later to provide clarity on the objectives, results and intelligence behind the mission.A total of nine (9) sites are accurately targeted. Our operations are deliberate, restrained and non-esclery. There were no Pakistani military establishments. India has used significant restraint in both the choice of target and methods of execution.
