The World Championship of Legends (WCL) top sponsor Eyeratrip has announced its return from the upcoming India Champion vs. Pakistan Champions semi -final match, citing its policy against participation in matches related to Pakistan. The decision comes when both cricket teams have been designed to face each other in the semi -finals of the tournament on 30 July.Nishant Pitti, co-founder of the travel-tech company, issued a statement saying that he explained his position: “We appreciate Team Bharat @India_Champions for his outstanding performance in the legends of the legends, you have proud of the nation. However, the upcoming semi-finals against Pakistan can not be just one more game, terror and cricket hand. @Eesemytrip, we stand with India. We cannot support any incident that tries to normalize relations with the country promoting terrorism.,
Pitti further emphasized the company’s stance: “The people of India have talked and we listen to them. Easemytrip WCL will not be associated with India vs Pakistan match. Some things are bigger than sports. The first business of the nation is later, always, always.”

Earlier in the tournament, the league stage match between India Champion and Pakistan Champion was canceled after the objections of a leading tournament sponsor after the Indian legends and the Pahgam terror attack, which increased military tension between the two countries.Easemytrip clarified its position through a social media post: “Despite entering a 5-year sponsorship agreement with WCL, our stand has always been clear-Easemytrip will not participate or participate in any WCL match related to Pakistan. Bharata first. Always.”The fate of the semi -finals remains uncertain after the return of the sponsor. India champion batsman Shikhar Dhawan claimed in a video that he would not take on Pakistan and his stance will not turn on neighbors.
