Indian woman Tanpreet Kaur stabbed and looted in Canada; Accused 17 -year -old girl was detained

A 23 -year -old Indian woman, Tanpreet Kaur, was stabbed by a 17 -year -old girl in her stomach and waist in Canada, who robbed her cell phone. Due to the attack, Kaur had to undergo two surgery. The Canadian police arrested a 17 -year -old accused in connection with the attack. According to reports, Tanpreet told the police that the attack occurred when she was returning from work at around 12 at night – the night of intervention between Sunday and Monday. While she was walking towards her apartment from the bus stop, she said that she listened to the padyatra running after him. As he turned back, she was pushed by a woman who asked her for her phone and identity. The woman then assaulted Kaur with a knife.Kaur said that she did not give with the woman and fought. During the struggle, he grabbed the knife as he defended himself. A man went with the attacker but he was only standing behind the attacker while the two women struggled. The Vinypeg police said in a statement that those who understood in the area stopped the attack, after which the suspects quickly ran away after stabbing and taking their cards and mobile phones. The police statement said, “The victim was robbed of his cell phone. During the attack, she was able to take out the suspect and was held on a knife, while he kept assaulting her. Buyers intervened and called 911 and called 911 and ran away,” Police statement said, the woman was taken to a hospital in critical condition.Police said the 17 -year -old girl arrested in connection with the incident has been accused of increasing attacks, robbery and release order. Kaur is from Faridkot, India and came to Canada in 2021. Now he has a work permit in the country. His brother Harit Singh also lives in Canada.
