Indianapolis Mass Shooting: Two teenagers killed, five injured – under investigation, motive unknown

According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, two teenagers were killed and five other people were injured in a mass shooting in the city of India in the early hours of Saturday.The authorities responded to a disturbance report near Washington and Meridian Street, which was around 1.27 am. When they arrived, they heard the gunfire, reported ABC News.According to investigators, a 16 -year -old boy was found dead on the spot and a 15 -year -old boy died of injuries in the hospital. A victim reached the hospital on his own.Police said five other victims were admitted to the hospital and the remaining people were identified only by age: one 16 -year -old, one 17 -year -old, two 19 years and one 21.No suspect has been identified, and the motive is unknown. Investigation is going on.Indianpolis police chief Chris Bailey said, “A lot of people are losing their lives.The mayor Joe Hogset also condemned the shooting and shared his sympathy for the families of the victims. He said, “All this is avoidable and prevention,” he said at a news conference.
