Infosys staff get bonus letters; Most employees get only 50% payment, some receive 70%

Infosys on Thursday distributed the performance bonus letters to the qualifying staff for the January-March (Q4Fy2024-25) quarter. A large part of the workforce said that the payment was significantly reduced compared to the previous quarter.Earlier this week, reports suggested that the fourth quarter bonus would decrease compared to previous periods. Staff members estimated low bonuses after receiving hints during the recent meeting with delivery managers and HR representatives in a major distribution unit.Sources informed ET that most eligible employees received 50% of their quarterly target amount, while some were awarded 70%, and the selection of outstanding artists was received in high amounts.The organization announced through a small internal message that the bonus would be distributed with a salary of May. Typically, this notification is accompanied by a standard management message, with the appreciation of the employee as well as a business approach and the possibilities of development. JL5 consists of team leaders, while lower posts include software engineers, senior engineers, system engineers and advisors. Management status on JL6 and above managers, senior managers, senior managers, distribution managers and senior distribution managers, although vice -presidents have not been included.A long -working employee mentioned that during his long term of his decade in Infosys, the lowest bonus that he had already received, was 60% two years ago, leaving this current payment even further. He said that during a good period, he received his full amount.The software giant awarded the average performance bonus of 80% of the target for qualified employees for delivery and sales divisions for the first December quarter. These divisions include most of his workforces, which exceed 323,000 employees. The Bengaluru-based organization distributed salary modification letters in February, offering an increase between 5-8% for most staff members.Bonus payments have decreased as a result of the current difficulties of the software services sector, including tariff uncertainty, development issues and conservative customer expenses. During the conference call, the staff members were informed that the company’s fourth quarter profits declined, leading to small bonus distribution.
