Infra Boost in Varanasi: PM Modi discontinued projects worth Rs 2,200 crore; 20th installment release of PM-Kisan scheme | Bharat News

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday laid the foundation stone for several development projects worth about Rs 2,200 crore during his visit to his parliamentary constituency Varanasi.Projects expand various fields including infrastructure, education, healthcare, tourism, urban development and cultural heritage.He laid the foundation stone for several initiatives under the Smart Distribution Project, including the underground of the electrical infrastructure.In order to preserve culturally important water bodies, the Prime Minister also laid the foundation stone for water purification and maintenance works in various kunds.Additionally, he released the 20th installment of the PM-Kisan Yojana, which was transferred more than Rs 20,500 crore from more than 9.7 crore farmers across the country.
