IPL 2025: Avesh Khan shut down Rajasthan Royals

Jaipur: For the second time in a week, Rajasthan Royals (RR) snatched defeat from the jaw of victory as they lost by two runs Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in a pulsed IPL match at Sawai Mansingh Stadium here on Saturday.
Nine runs were needed in the final, the Royals were limited to 178/5 chasing the target of 181, much for the disappointment of the house crowd. While it was Mitchell Starc of Delhi Capital who damaged on Wednesday, it was Avesh Khan on Saturday, who broke RR’s hopes with a brilliant 20th over.
Against DC, RR required the same number of run -nine from the final over, but Stark prevented Shimron Hetmyer and Dhruv Juraral from scoring those runs and forced them to a super over, which was eventually won by DC.
