New Delhi: BCCI has officially announced the updated program IPL 2025The tournament is designed to resume on 17 May, which is finally scheduled for June 3 as per the revised plan.After comprehensive consultation with government officials, security agencies and major stakeholders, the board has decided to move forward with the remaining session.A total of 17 matches will be played at six places starting on May 17 and will conclude in the final on June 3. The revised schedule includes two double-headers, both are to be played on Sundays.The playoff will be as follows:Qualifier 1 – 29 MayEliminator – 30 MayQualifier 2 – 1 JuneLast – 3 JuneNew schedule:
The details of the places for the playoff matches will be declared in the appointed time.The BCCI said in its release, “The BCCI once again takes the opportunity to salute the bravery and flexibility of India’s armed forces, whose efforts have enabled the secure return of cricket. The board has confirmed its commitment to the national interest, ensuring the successful completion of the league.”Last week, BCCI suspended the remaining of the tournament for a week due to increased acceleration tension between India and Pakistan. With enmity on Saturday, reports indicated that the IPL was set to resume soon.
