After 70 league matches, IPL 2025 is ready to start playoffs, starting on Thursday, 29 May. Four teams remain: Punjab Kings, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Gujarat Titans and Mumbai Indians. Qualifier 1, will take the Punjab kings to Royal Challengers Bangalore in Ahmedabad. Punjab ended the league stage at the top of the table, while RCB’s strong finish claimed him in second place. This is the first presence of Punjab in Qualifier 1 since 2014, while RCB is provoked by a series of wins, looking at the form to convert the form into a direct entry into the final. The winner of the game will go directly to the IPL final on Tuesday, June 3. On Friday, 30 May, the eliminator will be played between Gujarat Titans and Mumbai Indians in Mulanpur. This is a do-or-dai match and whoever loses is out of the tournament. Gujarat, one of the most successful franchisees of the league, has been facing a high pressure test against Mumbai since his IPL debut.
