IPL 2025: Rajat Patidar fined RCB’s slow rate in a thrilling win against MI

Royal Challengers Bangalore Winned his third distance IPL 2025Mumbai defeated Indians by 12 runs in a high scoring match Wankhed stadium On Monday. However, RCB captain Rajat Patidar, who received the Player of the Match Award, was slapped with a fine Slow rate, Patidar RCB, batting first, scored an impressive 64 runs off 32 balls.
The BCCI took disciplinary action against the Patidar for the slow rate of the team during the game.

The IPL media release said, “As his team was the first crime of the season under Article 2.2 of the IPL code of conduct, which belongs to minimum over-rate offenses, Patidar was fined INR 12 lakhs.”
RCB won its first win against Mumbai Indians in a decade at Wankhede Stadium. The match was tense until the final over, in which Mumbai Indians needed 19 runs from the last six balls.
Krunal Pandya proved decisive in the final, Mitchell Santner and Deepak Char rejected the first two deliverys. He then removed Naman Dhir in a penaltimet ball, handed over 4-45 figures and handed over his brother Hardik’s team with a fourth necklace in five matches.

Patidar acknowledged Krunal’s significant contribution to the victory.

Jeet marked the third win of RCB season, all achieved in distant games. His only defeat was against Gujarat Titans last week at his home ground, Chinnaswamy Stadium.
